 Prime Contractor Notification and Registration
Whether you have a GSA Schedule or not, often a wise approach to get more business is to make your unique products or service known to the big Prime Contractors that already enjoy relationships with government clients. This is especially true for professional service industries such as information technology, management consulting, engineering, environmental, and training. These prime contractors must meet certain specified small business subcontracting goals, typically valued around 25% of their contract. Many of these firms have special registration requirements in order to be considered as a future sub-contractor.
